In Appreciation of our Pastor Mike Harris and Youth Pastor Len Kight,

we will take up a love offering following this mornings services

before we go to the Family Life Center for the

Pastor Appreciation Lunch



*Thank you to everyone who helped on the Movie Night/Hot Dog Chili Supper,

and to the Youth and everyone that worked on the Yard Sale to make it a success.*



The WMU would like to thank everyone for the sock donations.  210 pair have been given so

far,  to help the Open Hands Ministries, and the deadline is next Sunday, October 27th.


We have Samaritan Shoeboxes left in the foyer today, please sign the sign up sheet and take one to fill.  Be a blessing to a child that might not otherwise receive anything.  Work Days are

Saturday, Oct. 26th and November 2nd at 9:00 a.m. Please come and help Kim those days.



Brotherhood Breakfast will be next Sunday, October 27th, in the Family Life Center at 8:00 a.m..  Please come and enjoy good food, fellowship and a devotion.


Healing Hearts will meet October 30th at LongHorn on Wednesday, Oct. 30th at 1:00 p.m.

Rsvp to Helen Threadgill (7-834-2293) for the headcount. There will be no meeting in November.


Sign up sheet for youth dinners (for Nov. - January) on  Wednesday nights, is in the foyer. Please choose a date to help and groups are welcome as well as donations.


The Church Library is open on Sundays from 9 - 9:50 a.m. in the  Sunday School Hall.


Looking Ahead

Fall Festival will be on Sunday, November 3rd in the afternoon at the FLC beginning at 4:00 p.m.


WMU will meet Tuesday, November 5th, in the Ladies of Faith Sunday School Room at 10:00 a.m.

The Shady Grove Supper Club will go to Jones Barbeque in Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5th. Please join us for fellowship.


Calendar Meeting will be Sunday, November 17th, in the Meeting & Choir Room at 4:00 p.m.

Please be at this meeting if you are an officer of the church.


Move Conference will be Friday, and Saturday, December 27th and 28th in Macon.  The Youth

will be going and more information later.


Secretary office days are  Wednesday  -  Friday  

                           Our Broadcast is Sunday, at 7:50 a. m. on 92.1 FM on WBTR  

We need the following items in the Pantry: Spaghetti  noodles, canned Ravioli, tuna, mayo, mustard,  Catsup, cereals, breakfast items, corn, turnip greens, peas,

Cornmeal mix, pork and Beans, baked beans, soups, crackers, & etc.
